Louis Waldon was an American artist and film actor, whose career spanned nearly 45 years, best known for his collaborations with Andy Warhol.
American artist and film actor Louis Waldon was well-known for his collaborations with Pop Art icon Andy Warhol. He starred in a few of Warhol's films, including San Diego Surf, Bike Boy, Lonesome Cowboys, and Blue Movie. Waldon moved to Europe before returning to California to appear in Mask in 1985 with major stars such as Cher and Sam Elliot. Then, he moved on from acting to create Warhol-style art, such as the present work. After working with Warhol for many years in a different capacity, Waldon continued to stay inspired the late artist's genius. The present work is a prime example of that influence as well as Waldon's own artistic talent.
