Sharon Lee

Sharon Lee is a visual artist, who focuses on photography art embracing a multi-disciplinary approach. She highlights the relational dynamics of photography, in which the photographic process is deformed and transformed into a trust and communication agent engaging communities and viewers. Working with image, object and text in relation to history, memory and site, she (re-)approaches different micro-perspectives in countering the grand historical narratives. Her works concern the absence, loss and lack in exploring identity and collective self.
