"Artist is the one who intervene between issues, it could be personal or social, and people. For my works, I put things together, extend and imaginations. I would like to share the fantasy and emotional alternative realism to people, giving them a space to release and to be sensitive to the unseen reality.”
Chan King Long Ken was born in 1997. He obtained a Bachelor of Fine Arts from the RMIT University (HKAS) in 2021 awarded on the Dean’s list, and an Associate of Visual Arts from Hong Kong Baptist University in 2018. He works mainly in oil paintings. The main messages of King Long's work is to emerge and expose different perceptions of states of existence that reflect and respond to histories, global misery, social phenomenon and living status in the society that we all live in through the form of his painting.
