Kei Wing (b. 1999) is a graduate of the Chinese University of Hong Kong. Her main artistic medium is printmaking and specializes in intaglio, a form of printmaking where indented parts of a plate is printed under high pressure. She hopes to use printmaking as a means of recording to reinterpret her life as a tale. The countless marks and cuts formed by piercing the plate with etching are needless. The scars and bumps were created with aquatint. These all contribute to the shades of black on her prints and stories. Although each print comes from the same plate, each has a slight difference, as if certain dialogues are lost. Rethinking and reevaluating her past with a needle in hand, she hopes not only to retrace her past but to have the courage to face what is ahead and to let the unspoken tales be felt.
