Hilarie Hon (韓幸霖)’s highly personal painting style employs bold colours and strong contrasts to express an inner world full of comical conflict and struggle, with sceneries that evoke the alienation and helplessness felt in nightmares. Participated exhibitions include numerous solo exhibitions at Gallery Exit in Hong Kong and “Stories We Tell to Scare Ourselves with” at MOCA Taipei, Taiwan, 2019 and “9x9” at 1a space, Hong Kong, 2017.
Hilarie Hon (b. 1994, Hong Kong) currently lives and works in Hong Kong. She graduated with a BA Visual Arts (Hons) at Academy of Visual Arts, Hong Kong Baptist University in 2016.
