Ho Wing Wa uses acrylic as his artistic medium, particularly emphasizing the expressive quality of brushstrokes, abstract forms, and calligraphic lines. His abstract forms are inspired by the coexistence of weeds, pebbles, soil, and other man-made objects in nature, as well as his personal experiences, rather than pure formalistic elements of points, lines, and planes. His paintings also explore the possibilities of calligraphic lines and abstract spaces.
Through his abstract compositions, he seeks to investigate and indicate to the human condition by nature.
