I painted this road based on my memories, depicted my emotion and feelings every time I walked the same road. Memories of quiet and vagueness.
This work formed with every single repeated memory of me walking the same road. It contained not only a specific moment of a scene, but all the moments and thoughts every time I walked the road. I walked this road at least twice at that period. It was usually midnight when I left and walk my way back home. I like night, everything is quiet and unclear when I didn’t wear my glasses. The moon, the guard kiosk and the taxi, I felt them, somehow, I always think they are trying to talk to me. Every time I walked by, I felt subtle and equivocal emotions and thoughts in those night light, ineffable and ephemeral but strong.
